The 2026 Lexus ES Unveiled: A New Era of Electrified Elegance

The all-new 2026 Lexus ES made a bold debut at the Shanghai Auto Show, marking the eighth generation of one of Lexus’ most iconic sedans. Reimagined under the concept of “Experience Elegance and Electrified Sedan,” the 2026 ES blends luxurious craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology and sustainability.

For the first time ever, the ES lineup will include a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) model alongside hybrid options, with available front- and all-wheel drive. Built on a redesigned GA-K platform, this ES offers improved rigidity, a smoother ride, and more dynamic handling.

The 2026 ES showcases Lexus’ next-generation design language, Clean Tech x Elegance, inspired by the futuristic LF-ZC concept. A flowing, trunkless silhouette, new Twin L-Signature Lamps, and a redefined spindle front create a presence that’s both bold and sophisticated.

Inside, Lexus raises the bar for luxury with a more spacious cabin, innovative materials, and tech-forward features. A new Executive Package, available for the first time in North America, adds reclining rear seats, a passenger ottoman, and even massaging rear seats.

Drivers will enjoy the latest Lexus Interface system with a 14-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and dual Bluetooth® pairing. The advanced Lexus Safety System+ 4.0 makes its debut in the new ES, bringing enhanced peace of mind.

With up to 300 miles of estimated electric range on the ES 350e, and DIRECT4 AWD available on the ES 500e, the 2026 ES is as dynamic as it is refined.
